I like the pose, eye contact, meal, and setting. The exposure looks good. The bird seems a tad oversharpened. And I would add a little canvas on the left if possible.

I agree with Doug on oversharpening and some space on the left - it's turned out almost a square crop. great exposure and detail though!

On my monitor, the sharpness looks Ok, but sharpness could be subjective :) But I do find the image a little bit bright. It could be my monitor though.

Great find, eye contact and interesting setting. I agree regarding the sharpening, would tone down the highlights and try to lighten the eye.

I agree about the USM. Still, I like the comp, light, detail, colors and ambient.
    Cngratulations!

Nicely framed between the two thicker plants, and I like the pose. Colours are well exposed, and agree to tone down the sharpening a tad.

Thanks to all of you, much appreciated. Guess that last sharpening before uploading wasn't necessary. :p
As for the crop, I usually crop to an 8x10, or sometimes 11x14 dimension. Agree that sometimes 8x10 looks a a bit squarish.
