    Techs:
    Canon 40D
    Canon 400 MM 5.6 L
    f/5.6
    1/2500
    ISO=400
    EV=0
    Afternoon light
    BB (-3)

    Workflow:
    LRII (Pano crop)---auto interface---CS4 (smart sharpen, noise reduction)

    ps,..the eye is natural.

    the eye is awesome and so is the water. would just clean up some of the specular highlights. i think it needs a little canvas below.

    Hi Jeff Would include the entire reflection or cut it off !!!

    It is a good looking bird with a stunning eye !! Need to softest of light to nail one of these guys !!! If you can get to it again would try a lower angle (if possible without going in the water) .. catching on of these flapping would be incredible !!!

    Hi Jeff,
    I like the capture...the head angle and eye contact is dead on, would suggest on your next one to get a lower capture angle...also would like to see the entire reflection...looking forward to your next one...good show...:cool:

    Hi Jeff, Nice looking bird! That red eye is very eye-catching (pun intended :D). Agree on including the whole reflection.

    Looks interesting without the reflection I was thinking on just cropping some of it but this looks good. My brain does a double take since you know there should be something there !!! This is one tough bird to capture !!

    ... you got some neat images that can be posted any forum !!!
