Sweet light, sweet bird, sweet BKGR, and a nice head turn. There are lots of alternative crops here.

Did you use audio? (We had great success taping this species in AK.)

Thanks Arthur. These little birds nest and are very numerous in the foreshore area around Boundary Bay so no need for audio. All that is required is an early morning start and get down on knees. Tks for looking Dave

Lovely pose with a good head turn, and a great perch too. I like the soft light and pastel colours in this. Well captured Dave.

Nice pose, perch, eye contact and BG. I think there is a slight magenta cast.

Really nice light, BG and bird.
I would crop a little from the bottom.

I followed up on Axel,s comment about a colour cast. I tried a few things including filter/blur/average. This method appeared too blue. Ended up picking a spot on breast, called it white and levels/balanced off of that.

I am curious if any one looks and has a comment. Dave

Lovely light, great pose, nice perch and excellent BG, I would only suggest to crop some from the top.
    Congratulations!
