    Sharp with a good HA but harsh light, too tight, and clipped toes are all big negatives.

    Artie pretty much summed it up but I like the detail and don't mind the light actually.

    Todd, I find that if Ive clipped a limb or wing, I go in tight, and just show the head. In this, you could crop just below the black on the neck. Lovely pose, and love the eye.

    Your composition takes one straight to the well-focussed and exposed head. The only issue for me would be the cut off toes; it does look a bit tightly cropped, but mostly on the bottom, in my opinion.
