Taken at Longwood Gardens on Monday. I liked the sweep of daylily leaves in the BG.
Nikon D300, Sigma 105mm macro, f3.2, 1/2500, ISO 200, pattern metering, manual exposure and focus, auto wb, tripod, outdoors, natural light on overcast morning. PP: RAW conversion in Elements 7, PS7 basic adjustments.
I agree although I think you could take the two smaller ones out and not lose anything. I wish those two back ones had a little more separation from the front flowers but golly, this is a beautiful image. That BG is to die for!
Lovely background as you mentioned. Very painterly quality.
I do agree with Jules, and also wish the large OOF purple flower in the background didn't merge with the foreground flower. Perhaps a slight shift in you position might have accomplished that.
Really nice Anita I like how you lined up several for a fading dof look, agree with Fabs on the separation but very fine image as presented !!! Great feel !
