I don't usually capture many headshot images I like, but something about this one appeals to me. I like the head angle and the fluffed up
head feathers against the dark background.
Image details: Canon 40d with 300 f2.8L IS lens and Canon 2x extender (600mm), 1/250 at f8, iso 400 with flash, mounted on Bogen Tripod
with Wimberly WH200 head.
Cool breeding colors, composition and hairdo. The whites look a bit blueish, maybe you can increase the color temperature to fix this and run NR on the BG.
nice nice pose Tim....looks like a movie star.
Here's a slight correction for blue cast and a bit of eye work.
Also a bit brighter and still not to right of histo.
Just an option....thanks for sharing

Hey Tim, A very nice image that was improved dramatically by Dave in NW LA. Thank you Mr. Phillips for your excellent repost. And a perfect self-critique.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I missed the blue cast completely before I posted the image, but when it was pointed out it seemed obvious. Nice work on the eye too, Dave. Thanks.
