    Default Reflected Heron

Again, this image was created from the boardwalk at Wakodahatchee Wetlands. Olympus E-510 with 70-300mm lens @ 300mm. ISO 100, 1/400 sec., @ f/10. Sharpened a tad and lightened reflection a bit in Picasa3.

Nice reflection. I also like the BG and the HA, however on my monitor I notice a lot of noise in the Heron's reflection.. My try some NR to try and clear it up..

    Hi Milt Strong reflection !!!

Agree on the noise reduction but do closely check before and after for loos of sharpness, some programs will do better than others. Would also desaturate the blue just a bit !!!

Alfred, many thanks for taking the time and effort to improve my image. It looks great now that you have enhanced it. I use Picasa3 to edit my photos but it is very rudimentary. I purchased PSE6 but have used it very sparingly as I just can't get the hang of using it. I'll just have to learn or have you do my PP.

Hi Milt Will get the hang in not time !!! Just try learning one thing at a time

The most important is to nail the exposure and keep your raw files safe for later !!!
Might want to take a look in the resources section for tips btw for purchasing software check on student discounts ... I know people that sign up for adult education photo classes just to be able to do so !!!! great savings !!!
