    I caught this male cardinal in molt. Picture taken with a D2x camera with the 70 - 200 F2.8 VR lens. ISO 400, 1/750 sec at F11.0

    I wouldn't have know it was a Cardinal, he looks almost pink!

    You could play with the density, it looks a little washed out, not only the bird, but the background and the leaves and you could go all the way to 800 pixels on the longest side.

    Cool bird. Too tight. Good body-to-sensor orientation and head angle. Too light. Lots of ways to fix the too light...

    Agree there are lots of ways of fixing the light ..... about the hair I'm not so sure:D I like it !!!!
