From the last trip to the beach found some terns diving for food. I think my first trip with the 50D and was happy with results.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

I like the looking-down-at-the-water pose and the pano crop, Alfred. The exposure looks right on and you caught a little life in the eye which can be difficult with these birds. Well done.

Pano crop works very well here, nice exposure, bird is placed perfectly in the frame, you can almost feel him suspended in air.
I wish for a teensy bit more catchlight, but other than that it all looks good!

Alfred, super hovering pose, well exposed and sharp. I like the pano crop, but would like to see a bit more sea at the bottom.

Didn't you were using Nikon gear earlier?
Anyway it is a nice image. Very nice details and typical behavior captured very well.
