Let me know if you like it. The pond was in shade and light filtered through the trees directly onto this cutie.

40d. 300 f/4L nonIS. 1.4x. iso 640. f/5.6. 1/500. handheld. noise reduction in neatimage. little USM. 80% crop. removed a few of those circles in PP.

    Thanks in advance

Hi Kaustubh Cute little guy and like the light does have a good feel !!

Got a hot area by the tail but overall good exposure. Might have tried fill flash for producing a catchlight making the eye alive !! Would also consider cropping some of the reflection. Excellent !!

It works for me Kaustubh. I like the nice soft feel of it. Cloning out all the little specks may add some to the soft look of the water, if you want to spend the time.

high cute factor! love the comp and low angle as well. the light and detail makes this great! ditto fill flash but easy to say after the shot was taken.

Hi, very cute image of something that a lot of people overlook :) I differ with the fill flash to make the eye alive as I think it would look so artificial, because the light is obviously from the rear.

Lovely light, great detail, exposure works for me as it is, nice little guy, as a suggestion I would've sharpened only the head and nothing else.
    Congratulations!
