This photo was taken in Rio Lagartos, where the egrets and ibises have a roosting place between the houses. Hundreds of bird are coming there during daybreak....here is an individual with the setting sun illuminating it's feathers. Thanks for looking.

this is very sweet - light immaculate and exposure great. lovely comp and pose as well. some detail lost between neck and body (guess he tucked it in deep).
Great light, great detail, great exposure IMO, I think the hot whites should be easily recovered, wing position in this particular case, works for me as the bird is gliding and not flapping his wings and this is a typical flight pose of these birds.
