This is a landscape of Roque Bentayga in my island, Gran Canaria. On the top a sea of clouds and Tenerife island.

Wow, Jose, this is a beautiful image. The layers, the light variations, the specular highlights in the foreground pine boughs -- it's all
beautifully composed. Maybe others can suggest improvements. I can't. Excellent!

Hey Jose, love the lighting and layers of tones. Good backlighting on the pines, and great looking clouds. Well done.

I love the layers in this image. They create a wonderful moody feel. At first I didn't like the highlights on the trees. However the more I look at the image the more I think they add a good balance to the tones of the scene.

Love the layers and the light. I cropped a bit (there was definitely too much on the bottom) and did a Linear Burn on the brightest parts of the sky.

    Hi Jose,
A little late....but see youhave gotten some excellent advice. I too like Artie's cropped and popped version....added the depth to the clouds that was needed. The highlights for me do add to the scene.....places me there more. Nicely done.

I like the recrop Jose, but the Linear Burn has skewed the colors in the sky and clouds. This may not happen in a large TIFF correction but I think it will as that is my experience with the Linear Burn Blending mode and saturated colors.

I would suggest using curves to make localized changes and then a mask to apply it only to those areas needing it.
