    Hi Doctor,
I like the image and capture on your bug...the color rendition is good and the selective focus point is dead on...the depth of field is balanced for this composition. My only suggestion would be to crop 1/4 from the bottom of the frame...aside from this, its very good...looking forward to your next macro creation...:)

Looks like you're starting to master the macro lens.
Great shot with lots of details and good colors.

Hi Harold, agree with Gus on all points; I would crop just below the first bud. Cheers

Nice MR H - Interested to hear what you think of the Sigma 150 - Is it sharp?? Do you notice a difference when using it compared to a Nikon - slower focus speed???

Agree with the crop from the bottom.

lance, i've only just begun to use the lens. i cant wait to get it in the right situation where i can put it on a tripod and really get down and dirty with it. so far, so good!! i like it. AF snaps to quick! it's a lot faster than the Bigma. i'll play around with it and the Nikon 300 f/4 and let you know which is quicker.

thanks for the replies everyone....i actually spent a lot of time on a different version of this one where i totally cloned out everything on the left and bottom. just couldnt get the blending like i wanted it so i abandoned it and went with the original.
