    I like the breeding plumage, details, pose and head angle. A lower angle would have helped to avoid the separation in the BG and I would give it more room to walk in on the left.

    Nice colors and pose but I would like a catchlight to give the bird some life.

    Lovely low angle image of a beauty.
    I find the whole image a bit pale due to the lack of contrast. I worked some with levels in PS. Left slider adjusted to 41 and the center slider 1.19. Result is pleasant while black bill tip shows details. Try it. ;) (I am not authorized by you to send repost :) )
    I would also consider to compose it to the right a bit more. Knowing the pixel ratio you should have some room to recompose if that fits your taste.

    Sweet image and nice plumage display Stuart. Maybe needs a touch more room to our left.
