These beauties visit India during Winter. Was able to get this one preening in the morning light.

I have cloned out another mound close to the tail.

What a lovely shot! The clean background really lets the viewer appreciate the excellent feather detail you've captured here. The pose is really dynamic as well.

Very nice image, here it is not very easy to get so close to these little predators. Love the light, pose, perch, BG, colors and detail. Congratulations!

These are just coming to my part of Arizona and I would really like to get one as sharp as this one. I particularly the headson angle as these are most often at treetop here. Very nice as presented

Lovely shot. I like your use of aperture to make sure the entire perch and bird is sharp.

I see some kind of a halo around the entire beak-to-breast area.

I like the angle, light, details, pose and BG. I agree regarding the halo around beak and rock and would put the bird a little bit further to the right in the frame.

    Kiran:

Lovely picture as critiqued above. My only minor point would be to bring up the eye a bit, to give a bit better catchlight, which would make it a bit more lively. Just a bit, it is really close.

    Thanks for sharing.

this is excellent! lovely capture, sharpness and detail. I would consider adding a bit of 'dodge' to the catchlight in the eye, but not a nit.

Dear All, Thank you for your valuable inputs,

I have redone the PP trying to retain more natural colours and removed the halo. also gave a little more room around.

    Pls comment.

    regards,

    Kiran.
