    This is the first image I've posted for critiquing. I saw this guy on my way home from work (Ct). He nearly made me late for my wife's birthday. :-)

    Welcome to BPN! You are going to learn a ton here.

    Nice first post. Good exposure, and nice job catching it with a prey item. However the background is somewhat distracting, and there appears to be some artifacts along the top of the head, and near some of the grass stems. The head angle is good, but if tilted a few more degrees towards you it would have been better.

    Welcome! Great first post, amazing natural moment with great light, exposure, colors and detail, it feels a bit tight in the frame to me and BG is a tad bussy but still works nicely. Congratulations!
