I was thinking this might be a pretty good habitat image. These are always difficult for me to "see" for some reason, so I'd appreciate any comments, please. Tricolored Heron (Egretta tricolor) Shot at Brazos Bend State Park, near Houston, Texas.

Reason: Added species identification.
I think you 'saw' this one very well. Lovely detail in the bird, sharp, well exposed. Could stand to have the head turned our way a bit, but still very nice.
I like the environmental component. It really places the bird. I would consider toning down the brightness of the leaves overhead. They will still be nice framing elements, but not so distracting. The vertical elements also act as nice framing elements.
I love it. I wonder how it would work in vertical keeping the bright leaves as a roof of the image.
The thin dark brown branch or liana might be better to be removed. Really nice image. Somehow different.
This is really nice. It is hard to get a "clean" habitat shot like this. Even though I like the habitat, I would like to see this without the branch on the left. This bird really pops out at you. Did you post the species? I know we don't have any where I live....
Thank you, everyone, for your great comments. It is so interesting, as always, to see the various ideas on composition. I'll repost as soon as I gather the suggestions and see what might work.
Filomena: Sorry about not posting the species ID on this bird. Thank you for reminding me. I edited the original post to include that. It is the Tricolored Heron, which, IMHO, is one of the most attractive herons we have and is somewhat common down here. Must like the heat and humidity!
