    Default Happy accident

Playing with various picture package type layouts on the new printer, I accidentally tried to cram 12 inches of print into 10 inches of space.

This was the result, which oddly enough I really like.

This is a scan of the print, but the print itself is really cool. I'm wondering if I can recreate the effect in PS by splitting the channels and moving them around.

Interesting result, your printer must feel like Andy Warhol. :)

Great result, Jim!!! I love it! Would be great if you could figure out how to create a similar effect in PS.

I'll have to give it a whirl. The printer I just got (Shinko 1245) is loaded with an 8x10 media kit on a roll. I told it to print four 4x6 prints on it, but 12 inches was just too long. The printer lays down each color sequentially moving the paper back and fourth.

This weekend will be our first time offering immediate prints on-site at an agility trial so starting tomorrow I'm swamped, but I'll have to give it a go next week sometime.

I'm actually going to offer this "treatment" as a sample, but unless I figure out how to do it in PS, I'll be limited to 8x10 size.

So far, no luck duplicating this in PS. I can't figure out how to split the channels and still be able to move them :(
