    Default Black Skimmer

Photographed on Long Island a few days ago early in the morning. I find the lower mandible pretty long.

It does look longer than usual, still, amazing pose, amazing light, amazing BG, exposure, detail, colors and comp. Big congratulations!

Only positives to comment on here, the ocean is the perfect background.

I love it. Nice wing pose and expo control. Could not be better. I wish I was there.

    Axel,

That's an amazing under bite. It must be a genetic aberration IMO. Know more about human dental problems than animals.

Your photo is outstanding in so many ways as others stated.

    Thanks for sharing.

Nice comp, good eye detail/contact, well exposed, good feather detail, good light and flight angle.
I think it has it all.

It looks like you had fun with the skimmers. I like the comp, well placed in the frame, well exposed on both the whites and the blacks, and you have brought out the eye nicely. Lovely softer colours in the BG too.
