    Default Black-capped Donacobius in habitat

After a refreshing morning rain shower, this Black-capped Donacobius came out of its marshy habitat.

I like the included habitat, eye contact and BG. I'm wondering if a slight crop off the right would help. Beautiful bird, BTW, I would like to see a larger image of this species.

A refreshing shower for a refreshing image :)
Love the habitat, it's orderly enough to be pleasant, yet keeping the wilderness look.
The bird placement is great and so is the BG.

I like the repost too. Use of habitat to balance the composition...perfect example. Loved the eye. IMO, that creates the pop in this.

Well, I'll tell you: The bird's eye immediately drew me into the image, and then I enjoyed the ability to look around and explore its surroundings. I don't know, but it seems to me that's at least a couple of things a good habitat image should do. I like it! Congratulations!

Great enviromental image Octavio, showing the surrounding foliage nicely. The bird is well placed in the comp, and Axel's repost by taking some off the right works well. I would also like to see this larger.
