    Hi Folks:

Here's a little Hummingbird that joined me in our garden this morning about an hour after Sunrise'

Did the painting using Corel Painter 4 Essentials. As in my mind I envisioned a brighter BG. I went to New, used same measurements as my Hummingbird photo, and used BG as off white. When it appeared I cIhanged FG to a light blue, then Filter>Render>Clouds I had a nice bright BG.Then using Move, holding down Shift (For perfect fit) I dragged Hummingbird onto new BG. Using Eraser & BG Eraser at very low opacities I removed original BG leaving new BG showing.

MP, Thankyou for sharing your technique with us!!! This really does allow for a total BG change. I really like the new look, just a couple of dust bunnies above head.:) Very creative as usual!!! Thankyou for posting;)

    Hi Denise:

Thanks for catching the dust bunnies. As I will be having surgery on my left eye on July 1st, hopefully I won't miss them in the future?
