I've got to admit.....this may be over the top ......even for me. Indoors.....2 reflectors and natural/bright overcast light......with my 10 million candle power flashlight.....just illuminating the yellow edges....Bg is black matboard. I've pulled back quite a bit on the yellows and reds.....not sure I can go more w/o getting them muddy......but it sure is fun playing indoors where it is dry!
Canon 1D Mark lll with the Sigma 180mm macro all tripod mounted at f32 for 1/5 sec. at ISO 800 manually focused.
As always comments welcomed and appreciated.

I appreciate your description of set-up. The flower does stand out, big and bright. My first impression was that it was a bit too much, but, the more I look at it, the more I like it.

    Roman,

I like it as is--not over the top at all! I like rich, brilliant color, and this is right up there.

Roman: You 've done it again.

I have decided to wipe my hard drives clean.

I'm sterilizing all my equipment and going back to school!!

But, it's not quite as good as Denise's Forum Greeting. Isn't that great?

Thanks for sharing and setting the bar so high.
