This is a picture of a Juv Spotted Owlet. very cute owlets.

I wanted the frame a little tight as I wanted the focus more on the subjects expressions.

    Kiran:

Sharp, very nice light (as Tony mentioned), with very even illumination.

Small things - consider removing the white wash spot on rock,
If you have it, perhaps a touch more room on bottom for tail. Adding that might make the rock too dominating however, so go with what looks best overall.

    Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Randy, I have removed the white patch and just pushed the contrast a bit. As you rightly pointed out adding more space adds more rock, so I let it be. Thanks, I am learning.

I have also done with the cloneing flaw, sorry did not notice. its bad i know, one more thing I learnt "give you Image one GOOD look before presenting"

    Kiran:

It looks better without the white wash.

I looked at the tail again, and noticed a halo there. Did you have to do any cloning/ post processing work there? It is visible in both versions.

Yeah I did clone out a couple of out of focus braches at the bottom. Will rework on that.

    Sure.. Will mention it.

I like the way you presented the picture, cloning out the white spot doesnt make it 'better', ist just makes it a bit different. Keep em coming Kiran.

I like the angle, perch and details. The repost looks better, if you have more room at the bottom for the 'virtual tail' would be good.

Stunning light, sharp, with good detail. I like the eye contact, together with the colours in the BG. Your repost work well.

Thank you all for your kind words..
Alex the tail end at the last visible part itself. These guys have a short tail.

Just to avoid the extra rock I went in close.

    Kiran,

You are just bringing on one beautiful shot after the other. This one is a keeper. Fantastic light, sharpness and nice sitting pose on the rock. Repost is better without the little white spot. Congratulations.

Great-looking image. The tweaks have given it a nice finishing touch. Have you considered levelling the eyes? As is the slight tilt is bothering me a bit and I feel that levelling the eyes would be a good thing to do.
