Light and pose are great, I only wish for a lower angle, would sharpen the bird more and run NR on the BG. As presented I would crop a bit off top and bottom.

    Michael:

What Axel said! With one minor change.

For my taste, with this nice soft light, I might just sharpen the eye selectively, rather than the entire bird. My concern is that increasing the sharpness might increase the noise which is starting to creep into the bill.

I wish for a lower angle, this would've improved the BG a lot IMO, nice light, pose, detail, exposure and colors. COngratulations.

Nicely done Michael. I really like the nice soft light and how it is shown. I like the idea of the crops and lower angle. Good show. Dave
