    While I'm waiting to take what I visualize to be the perfect black skimmer feeding shot , I took a recent image that lacked that final reflection, although the other elements were in place. (I'm not sure about the backlighting).

    just read what the weekly theme was. Funny, because when I created the reflection I did use Liquify a bit to make it somewhat different than the bird itself.

    William, I love the backlighting esp. coming thru the beak. This is very nicely handled-not overdone. I like it alot. I would put the word Theme in front of your title so it doesn't get excluded from the competition as it does qualify!!

    I like the back light a lot, I'd give it maybe some more room on top and bottom.

    I agree with Fabs about liking the back light. I also like the positioning of the subject where you show the trail and still leave an ample amount of space in the front. I also vote for a bit more room top and bottom...
