    I was out this morning for sapsuckers, but like this image better than
    the sapsucker images.

    I like that a lot of details are visible in both the dark and white areas. I don't like that part of the perch looks too hot. Some may suggest a bit noise reduction to the background would be nice, too. I also would like to see the bird looks more at your direction. Still a job done well !

    I think Desmond hit the important points, re. hot foliage, NR, HA.

    I might also consider a small crop from top, perhaps 1/3 off of empty space, and perhaps a bit more canvas to right,not much really.

    Thanks for sharing. Sometimes it is fun to capture the unexpected bird! I try always to have a plan, but it pays to be flexible!
