Beautiful bird and neat composition and colors. I may sharpen the head some more.

Good angle, eye contact and BG. Aside from sharpening, I would adjust the midtones in Levels to about 0.90.

Looks definitely better. Make sure to select the inside of the beak only to avoid a sharpening halo around it.

Great light, species, BG, pose, colors, detail and comp, I like the OP better, the second one in my monitor looks a bit oversharpened.
    Congratulations!

    Harshad,
I might split the difference in sharpness between the to two posts.:)
The subject, sharpness, exposure and background make this a winner.
I also like the composition, but wonder how it would look with the Bee-Eater a little more left in the frame.
    Congrats on a beautiful image.

Very nice, great colors and pose,
    nice BG and perch too,
agree with James about possible different crop.
    Congrats!

Harshad, perfect pose, and I like the colours in this. Your repost with the adjusted midtones works well, although you may have oversharpened him a bit.

really great capture with an awesome BG. However, I feel that the sahrpening on the repost is definitely too much in the facial area. Contrast wise it's much nicer.

My vote is somewhere in between two sharpening. The repost has visible a bit too much sharpening what created a strong halo around the lower bill. How much the image was saturated? Colors are gorgeous. Smooth bg is a bonus. Well done.
