    I took this picture in India. There are loads of opportunities in India that I realized during my recent trip.
    I am not sure of the BG to the left especially the white lines are a bit distracting but am not sure whether to clone it or not. Not good with PS :-).

    Well, light was a little harsh but the angle was perfect, great pose, comp, perch, colors, detail, and BG, here's a respot where I try to tame the highlight from the BG with some patch tool, NR and a very little bit of Blur.

    Harsh light was my first thought. I like Ramon's repost, but other than the light it is very nice!

    I like ramons repost. I hope ill get one of them in my gallery one day. Its a great looking bird. Only thing for me here is that the poooo on the rock looks greyish....did you burn it? Does not look good. Other than that its a super shot well done

    Great looking Kingfisher. That beak sure is larger than his head. I like the colours and detail, and Ramon's repost works well.
