This image was taken just before the rains arrived , the winds caused a dust/sand storm... these wildebeest were caught out on an exposed pan with no cover .. so they huddled together an started to head towards the cover of nearby sand dune....

A sort of SciFi look. This one rocks. Love the B&W, a very desolate feel. The single one to the left is a real plus to me. It adds to the lonely look.

    Very well done Peter.
The composition, B&W, magic BG, the dust & their manes pointing the way out with the lone one leading the way. It's all there.
    Was this in Sth Luangwa?

    Cheers
    Marc

    thanks Peter ,Grady, and Marc....

really appreciate the feed back... this image was taken in the kalahari.. i felt the colour version did not portray the mood at the time.. so your comments about the feeling of desolation are indeed what i wanted to hear... so thanks...
