Dennis the image looks a bit bright in my monitor (not hot, of course) and slightliy flat. I think that some additional processing job to increase the contrast and to tone down the BG just a bit would made this image to work even better. Sharpness is fantastic and I am not sure about the composition. At first glance it seems that you left too much room at the bottom but now I think that it is a good idea to give space for the "virtual" legs of the bird ;-)

I agree with Juan's comment, although the composition IMO could've been better, to me the bird is so deep that I wouldn't have missed the virtual leg space at the bottom and with that amazing BG, a bit more room on top would've been nice, still, lovely image. Congratulaitons.

Another vote for toning the image down. I love the environment portrayed, head angle and sharpness :)

    Big welcome to BPN!!

Great angle, details and settings. Another vote for more contrast and/or midtone adjustment. Does it need a bit CW rotation?

I like the DOF, and low angle. Good detail, sharp, and love the single droplet.
