    Default Coppersmith Barbet

    Hi guys,
This bird called Coppersmith Barbet or its scientific name is Megalaima Haemacephala. It was captured while building its nest since this morning around 7.30. I noted few other birds as well are nesting here and there within the same park here. BTW, your C&C to this image is most welcome. Thanks for viewing.

Wolly, sorry for my ignorance, but where are you from, as Im interested where you captured this species. Super pose, and like the multi colours on him. The remains of the tree trunk are a bit over powering, so I would crop in from the left, and create a vertical crop.

I love the species and flash helped you get good detail on the bird despite the light angle, it looks that there was some patch tool used in the BG near the head and the result is not very neat IMO, I agree that the log is distracting and I would also suggest a tighter crop. Congratulations.

Thanks Stuart and Ramon (Ola..) for your prompt comments. I appreciate it very much. Can post out after anyone of you made any cropped etc.

Hi Stuart: This fella was captured in Singapore. Its having nesting - just yesterday morning. Feel like coming over? Quick decide before it's over... IF YOU COULD MAKE IT....

    Cheers.
