    took this shot last week in disused quarry,near to were I live,it was stood on a rock,and as I focused on it ,it bent forward to take off,and I managed to take this shot.comments good or bad thanks.cannon 40d,400mm prime lens,hand held,cropped,1/2500sec,f5.6,iso400.

    I really like the crop. The bird and perch are really well positioned within the frame. The tail-up pose adds an interesting dynamic to the shot.

    I like the composition with a lot of free room at the left and the pose of the bird with the raised tail. The light is a bit intense to my tast and the BG is fantastic but it would be much better if you run a round of noise reduction of a touch of gaussian blur

    Very nice pose, detail, comp, perch, texture, colors and although light angle is not ideal I think light was nice, exposure is very good too. Congratulations!

    I like the pose, with the bird following the slope of the perch. Good detail, and like the colours in the BG.
