A small crop for compositional consideration.

James, this is an incredibly beautiful close-up. The pale colors of the juveniles are really gorgeous. I enjoy this composition that you chose, including the diagonal of the bill back across the frame. Fine work!!

Lovely detail, well exposed whites, and the soft pastel pink takes this over the top. I like the pose, but comp wise, I would liked to have seen a little more of the feather detail.

A little bit too bright to my taste, but the close up is great, naturalo moment is very nice too and pose, detail, colors, BG ad species are also very nice. Congratulations!

I too feel the bird is a bit bright but then I've not seen the bird to comment on the color.
But the composition here is great with good sharpness.
Did you also have horizontal/landscape shots of this bird ?

You make me want to drop everything and be there NOW ;)

The color palette is exquisite and so id the detail, especially considering you used the 2X!!!

Love the image design and the colors. A bit more depth-of-field to grab all of the bill might have been an option. Way to go Froggie.
