    Not the best of the bird I am sure but it captures the mood and habitat well.
    The picture was taken in very low light at ISO 800. The car window was used to stabilize the camera and lens. The picture was taken at Tal Chhapar Grasslands, Rajasthan, India

    Very moody to be sure. But for me this one is just too dark.

    The composition works nicely for this image. The lack of light and large amount of noise decrease the impact this image might otherwise have. When working with High ISOs, do your best to expose the image to the right of the histogram (if the scene tonality warrants it). Exposing an image to the right of your histogram will decrease the amount of noticable noise in most Nikon bodies ;)
