    Salut Nicolas,

    this is a beautiful image with very soft tones. It is very sharp in the feather details. The blue cast gives an interresting feel. The weed hanging from the feet is a little distracting to me.

    Salut(Rene, I hope that means something nice) Nicolas,
    This is a sharp image that is well exposed and composed.
    For me the bottom line on this image is the light direction. The light is from behind the bird causing heavy shadows.
    Talk the Egret into flying in the opposite direction and you will have a winner!
