    40D, ISO 400, F8.0, 1/1250. I know there appears to be a cast, but that's how I remember the light at the time.

    I like the warm light, details, exposure control, details and particularly the 'perch' and would only run NR on the BG.

    Stephen, well exposed on the egret, and good detail on both the egret and zebra. Looks like the egret is balanced nicely on the rump. I agree with Axel to run some NR on the BG.

    Love it Stephen. the perch is fantastic. It is a set up? :D (just kidding). BG and exposure works very finely and the pose of the egret is perfect IMO. From a composition point of view, I think that I would prefer to see more of the great zebra skin and more room at the right. Very good job

    This is a phenomenal image, everything comes together to create a winner, EXP, BG, design and sharpness!

    To be honestI am not crazy about the Egret's pose, but that's just a very personal matter, the rest, light, exposure, BG, Perch, comp and detail are outstanding! Congratulations!
