I would have loved to see clean BG but everyone knows these skullers are difficult to get on clean perch:)
All C & C are most welcome & appreciated
Thanks for stopping
I am a BIG fan of your master photography, you excel in Tigers as well as birds, this is amazing stuff. What clarity and detail, I like the natural BG. Great stuff !!
Nice picture Harshad, I do not mind the busy bg because thats his habitat :) I think just a small step to the right might have stopped the oof verticle twig from intersecting with its head.
Anyway a nice image. In asia bird photography is almost impossible with clean bg.
Details on the bird is very nice however I would increase a bit more sharpen here.
I would lighten it a bit with the level's mid slider. Improved a lot on my screen :)
lovely Image harshad, The busy BG adds to the forest feel. but I feel you could clone out the branch on the top right of the frame and also the bent branch at the bottom left. try it.
Nice pose and colors. The dark gray tree trunk on the right and the OOF branches are distracting. Also there is little detail in the blacks near the throat, and you might try and lighten them a bit.
Cool bird, I like the soft light and eye contact. I would selectively sharpen the head and the yellows look a bit undersaturated. This is of course just a guess since I've never seen this species.
Here is my version. I am still not sure in sharpness as it is not the best to try properly sharpen an already sharpened image. Anyway looks a bit better to my eyes :)
Levels mid slider adjusted slightly to the left. A little adjustment in shadows and highlights and a bit of Smart Sharpen 20/0.2 two times) used.
Cheers, Szimi
