    Its always fun to capture these Pied Kingfishers, as you are guaranteed some sort of action. One of the perches where the fish are mashed before going down the hatch.

    I like the ruffled feathers, eye contact and BG. The fish adds to it. The color temperature looks a bit low since the white feathers have a blue cast.

    Good exposure control despite what looks like harsh light conditions. I think the colour temp is fine, but I do agree with the blue cast on the feathers. In this case the fix is extremely easy: since you know there should be no blue at all in the image you can go into hue/saturation and desat the blue and cyan channels completely to rid of the cast without affecting the other parts of the image. I went ahead and did this, and while at it performed some eye doctor too.

    Looks like there was a shadow creeping into the lower part of the perch and bird.
