nice detail and light. a better head angle would have made this one nicer. these guys sure are tough!!

I like the flight position, exposure and under wing detail HA doesn't bother me that much since the bird is fixed on something Is it much of a crop? lots of dof for the aperture The times I went after those with the 300 2.8 I ran out of steam for the weight of the lens !! Did great for the first few passes !!!

I'm doing better now holding the lens for time. Yep, I bought it for chasing swallows :) Of course it will be much easier with a 300f4.The times I went after those with the 300 2.8 I ran out of steam for the weight of the lens !!
