This is a double of a double of a double ... I think. ;)
There was one original Osprey that is making a return engagement. He was here for an earlier posting, with his fish catch of the day!
Enjoy!

Mark, I really like the pattern formed by the birds and I think the BG texture is great. Color choices are very nice. The only thing I would like to see differently is the vignette all the way around at the top.( I don't know -the more I look at it I'm not sure it needs it!!)This is one of your best flips!!

I like this a lot also.
My first impression is that I want to see the "full circle" of golden light at the top....more than
just the vignette.
agree with Denise, one of your best......judging is getting tougher!!
Mark - one of my favorites - very elegant and unique. Great job.

Thanks, I liked it as well. That is why I saved it for the end.
As for the lighting effect, I looked at full frame lighting and "moon" lighting and personally liked this one, as it gives an exit to the image. I felt to use a "moon" lighting would require that they fly out of the center and for some reason I didn't think that was good at the time. I took many views and spent most of my time on the lighting before fixing it as shown. I wanted to make it clear that the flight was the only subject, and that any extra subjects (though there were none) were not suggested. I didn't feel that total lighting would have been as effective, in this shot. Though that is my opinion and does not have to be shared by others. Understand your thoughts, as I strongly considered them as well.
Thank you and this week was fun ... again! ;) :D
Mark, In the end it's about your vision-What you feel makes or breaks an image, suggestions are just suggestions. I usually try out suggestions and see if they further along my vision if not I am just thankful that someone cared enough to really look at my image and make a suggestion.Keep up the good work and I'm very curious to see what you come up with for Liquid.:)
Great work Mark! It is interesting to me that the "flip" here is a minor element! It's the design and lighting that makes this good! It looks like the artwork found on American Indian pottery or a Chihuly glass blowing!!
Agree Denise and no problem with the comments, I appreicate them. I just wanted to clarify that it didn't seem to work for me, when I tired other lighting options. I liked the effect of this and ... But I understand other views as well. I look at my comment back, only as a guide for others to do as you say, find their "Nature's Visions" in all they prepare.
As for the liquid. I've tired it and will continue to, but I find the vision isn't there yet. However, I do have an offering that I will post, when my 24 hrs is up, tomorrow.
Not sure how you will feel about your comment when you see it!
Get a good nights sleep tonight, you may need it! ;)
Thanks Dan,
I agree. When I did the first flip, it seemed to need more. When I got the final flip, I thought it needed shape and did the Polar Coordinates to give it the sweep. What is interesting is that most of the images used this week are poor photos in their own right, but come through in the graphic form as this one did. Been fun, as I know you agree.
