    Perhaps a little odd to see a greenfinch like this bud i liked it and espacialy the dark BG :D

    I like the unusual perch, soft light and details and might crop a bit off the bottom.

    Alex, the FG and BG are very complimentary to the bird itself. I do think if you wanted it to be less dramatic and more "natural" you could lift those heavy shadows with a shadow/highlight adjustment and get more detail in the BG. Either way, it's a lovely image.

    I love the colours in the image and the texture of the mossy perch is great. Pity that the bird's right leg is obscured.
