Green Cay & Wako reports

I was wondering if anyone has recently been to either place. In looking back at some photos from a few years ago, I noticed the last time I was there was 4 years ago during the last week in June. I remember lot's of least bittern activity at Wako. Found both places awesome. Sadly, the moment I got half way around Green Cay a major summer thunderstorm hit and I had to leave.

I am thinking of making a return trip in the next few weeks, but wanted to know the activity level of both places or what to expect before I make final decision. Somewhere I remember reading that Green Cay is better now than Wako. 4 years ago, GC was just starting out so Wako was more established with the birds.

Any recommendations on a place to stay nearby that doesn't break the bank?

Green Cay, water levels too high for bird activity, but nice sunrise shots. Wako has better activity including juvenile tris on the back island.
