Reddish Egret Walking on Water

This reddish egret was dancing around a pond a Ft. DeSota Beach last month (Jan08). It was in mid-afternoon bright light. And, it would have been nice if it's face was turned a bit.
Nikon D200, 70-200 w/ TC.
ISO 320, 1/1600 @ F6.3

Any thoughts?

I am not competent enough to comment on light, composition etc., but I love the action and the intensity the bird is seeming to display.

Arlene, this image is a hoot! I do like it. Although we don't have a head turn, the intensity of the bird more than makes up for that. I love this species of bird, and I have never seen one in person!
