    Steve, great DOF, good pose and HA, and I like the detail and colours in this. I would maybe lighten the eye a tad, and although not distracting, I would make an attempt to remove the grass through his tail.

    Steve The BG is a bit busy to my taste but the low angle, sharpness and fantastic eye contact are really good! :-)

    Lovely sharpness and pose. Agree BG is a bit busy but I think darkening down the pale grasses a little would reduce this.

    A nice sharp bird with a good pose. Good comp and I like the way the bird is located in a little opening in the habitat. I'm OK with the habitat in this image except that I would wish that the one grass stem in front of the tail wasn't there. :)

    I like the angle, details and habitat and would raise the color temperature a bit. The whites have a slight blue cast.
