Hi everyone,
this looked like a fun place, so I thought I'd join!
A little bit about myself: My name's Dennis (or Patrick) Lorenz. I'm currently a grad. student at UW-Madison, but usually spend a good part of the year in Switzerland. I started photography about three years ago, mostly concentrating on birds and herps, I don't have a good eye for landscapes it seems :)
Lately I haven't been out shooting much, since I moved to Madison last fall and have been busy with school, so I'll post a few old photos first, mostly from Switzerland or Michigan.

Please let me know if any of my post-processing work (sharpening, saturation, contrast etc) looks terrible. I'm a recent Mac-convert and so far stuck with a small MacBook, which I find has a terrible screen for editing photos.

Willkommen, Dennis! Very nice first post. I like the light and details. I might decrease the contrast a bit and find the perch a bit dominating. You can upload images directly, that would be easier than clicking on a thumbnail. Keep them coming!
