    This is white eyed buzzard with a mouse hunt. great hunters, I have spent a lot of time with them to get them to be calm when I am around.

    tech spec: ISO 400, F 7.1, 1/2000 expo -1/2.

    I like the angle, head turn and the prey adds to it. I might try to get more details in the shadows.

    I like the crop with the buzzard on the left side. The eye shows how the buzzard gets its name and he stands out nicely from the background. Good job

    Love that eye, and the prey is a big bonus. I might not have gone with -1/2 EC; you'd have gotten more detail in the darks and still preserved the whites.

    Bird stands out nicely from the BG. Would be nice to see some detail in the darker areas, and maybe a little more space in the FG. Image is lovely and sharp, and great to capture it with it's prey.

    Thank you for your valuable inputs, I respect them.
    Yeah the -1/2 was a mistake. I was making portraits just before the
    buzzard found this prey and in the exictment I was lost.

    lesson learnt: stay clam at such situations

    Fill flash would've helped getting more info from the shadowed areas I think. Still, amazing natural moment, nice light, nice low angle, good BG and detail. Congratulations!
