    Glen:

A pretty darn clean background for the Amazon I would think!
The bird is sharp, nice HA,pleasant background.

I would be tempted to tone down(burn in) the perch, esp to the left of the bird.

Maybe tone down or remove the leaf in lower right corner, and the moss hanging down above. I know environmental context is important to you, so maybe just tone down a bit.

If your ethics/aeshtetics allow, consider removing the stick touching the birds back.

Very nice capture, I have enjoyed your series!

Superb... never seen a pic of his species before.. I think some cloneing of the top left out of focus branch would help.

The bird is fantastic, and looks great in terms of pose, exposure, and sharpness. I'm with Randy regarding toning down the perch and removing the branches touching the bird's back.

Stunning! Terrific light, great BG, nice detail and colors, good perch and pose. I would have gone with a higher ISO so to get a bit more Shutter speed.
    Congratulations!

Stunning light, and very sharp considering your slow ss. I like the detail and colours, and Im sure that its not often you would get such a clear BG from the Amazon. Well captured.
