Had too much lens as two of these guys kept moving towards me so I made the best of it by going in tight.

Thanks for looking, comments and critiques appreciated.

Too much lens, don't say that in the Avian forum! This is a cool shot. I like the visible eye and the lichens on the rock, lets you know what he's doing. Neat to see the lines of the horn growing in line with the hair too. The tip of the upper curl draws my eye a bit but I'm not sure if I'd remove it or not because you still have the shadow.

Great sharp detail, and like the eye contact in this. Being tight, the comp works well as is.

    Todd,
This is a unusual perspective. I am happy that you explored. I would have been happy without the snow. There are lots of details in the image. The eye is sharp and the texture in the horn has come well.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
