    Hello everyone,

    this is a photo i take yesterday. It's a beautiful small duck!!!

    400mm...F 5.6...iso 400...1/1250s. Thanks for your comments!!!

    Nice Setting pose, and sharpness. I would tone down the bright spots on the neck just a tad. If possible a lower angle would have been better.

    Looking forward to more!

    The water is just surreal! Love the light, pose, detail, and colors. I woould suggest you to remove the second smaller catchlight. Congratulatons!

    Cute little guy and good details. I wish for a lower angle and the light looks a bit harsh. You could use S/H to even it out a bit more.

    Pierre:

    You have gotten good advice above. I think the match of water color with yellows (rocks?) and the yellows in the duck is very complimentary. Nice head angle.

    As mentioned, think lower on your shooting angle for a more intimate feel, esp. for smaller birds/animals!
