    Wonderful job on the exposure; lots of details in the blacks, and reds. Clouds probably helped with that. Nice BG, and pose too. I would tone down the perch a tad.

    I was going to suggest exactly what Aidan said :) to tone down the perch, I would also suggest to decenter the bird a little more; the rest, comp, light, pose, colores, BG, detal and exposure on the bird are great IMO. Congratulations!

    Hi Steve, excellent exposure on those blacks, good sharp detail, and well timed to get the open beak. Great OOF BG, and I would maybe tone down the perch.

    I like the perch, pose, details, exposure control and details. Another vote for a slight crop off the left.
